How much is a day ticket to fish?
£13.00 for one, two, three or four rods. This covers 7am to 7pm.
How much is it to night fish?
£25.00 for 24 hours or £15.00 for overnight leaving at 8.00am.
Can I buy day tickets on the bank?
Yes you can, however we don't not accept cheques, cards or PayPal.
Can I book ahead or reserve a specific swim?
No, we operate a "first come, first served" policy.
What are your opening hours?
The site is open 24 hours a day (all year), however the gate will be closed at dusk. After which no further entry or exit is permitted (except in an emergency).
Do you sell tackle and bait?
No, we don't have a shop on site.
Can I keep the fish I catch?
No. Sam's Lakes is strictly "catch and return".
Are tents allowed?
Bivvies and small tents are allowed, however these are strictly for anglers only, not for camping.
Is there a toilet?
Yes, a single portaloo is provided for anglers only.
Can I bring a non-fishing guest?
Normally yes. We would ask that you limit it to one. Guests staying in caravans or motorhomes, please check with us before inviting any guests to visit you.
How much is a caravan pitch?
£26.00 per night including electric hook-up.
Can I hire fishing equipment for the day?
No, you must bring all of your own fishing equipment with you.
Is there disabled access?
The site is flat and cars can park within 5 feet of some swims, please call ahead to discuss your needs.
Can I buy food and drink at Sam's Lakes?
Yes, we have a snack bar on site most weekends during the summer.
